SAN PABLO CITY, LAGUNA β The Department of Education (DepEd) - Schools Division Office of San Pablo City released an official statement on December 14, 2025, mourning the loss of a Grade 8 learner from San Jose Integrated High School.
DepEd San Pablo City extended its deepest sympathies to the bereaved family, offering support and assistance immediately following the incident. The student was urgently transferred from San Pablo City General Hospital to East Avenue Medical Center to ensure proper care.
An immediate investigation was conducted, and the official report has already been submitted to the regional office. DepEd emphasized that the safety, protection, and well-being of all learners remain a top priority.
